Twenty five years ago I had the opportunity to work as a production coordinator at Robert Held Art Glass in Kitsilano. At the time it was the largest Off Hands Hot Glass shop in North America. I was fascinated by the skilled discipline of the glass blowers and yearned to work with hot glass. Today, I get to pursue Off Hands Hot Glass Blowing as a hobby at Terminal City Glass Cooperative in Strathcona. I hope you enjoy the product of my labour as much as I do.”

Pretty Papers by Karen and Verena My sister and I were looking for a craft that could keep us busy during the newly found spare time from loss of work during COVID. We decided to take up quilling, an ancient art form that requires paper, glue and a little patience. ( OK, sometimes a lot of patience.) We taught ourselves to make snowflakes, cards and magnets. This year we started making paper flowers which we arrange in old china tea cup/saucers. We are proud to be part of the North Delta Artisan & Gift Market and look forward to the Holiday Craft Market on November 15th.
