I started seriously making woodcrafts in the early 90s when one of our sons was in Grade 8 at Sands Secondary. His woodworking teacher asked me to start making crafts at home because my son loved woodworking, so we made wood Christmas gifts for our family members that year. They showed their gifts to others and it all started from there! My son is now a electrician but I continue to make the crafts and my wife Debbie loves selling them at local craft fairs. We use the money that we make (lol) not much, for dinners and holidays. - Bob Burkmar
