To me bright colours and simple lines make life a little more pleasant in our world of complications and chaos!  Simple pleasures bring a vibrancy to life and give us pause to reflect on all that is good!  I have been a full time, stay-at-home mom, I have put in countless hours volunteering in our local schools and churches working with children and I have most recently worked  a little over five years as a Special Education Assistant working with our more vulnerable little people in the community.  All of these hats I have worn have given me immense pleasure and rewards, and in every role I have always incorporated my love of art and creativity!

With all of the stresses in life, I have found it is time to live out my dream of sharing my love for creating art with others in the hopes of bringing joy and lifting spirits.  My acrylic paintings with their smooth lines and vibrant colours offer a soothing respite to a busy day.  I primarily paint scenes that are local or places that I have visited that have touched my soul and moved my spirit in such a way as to want to capture the ambience that stirs feelings like those felt initially while experiencing the vista.  

Being a creative soul, I also love working with wood; from functional furniture to whimsical decor, I will make it!   I am always seeking new inspiration and trying new things from what is trending right now to pieces that I have been inspired to make from my own imagination or by requests made by family and friends!
