Oct 17-19 - Online Silent Auction

Writing this blog in the middle of the summer warmth to share some exciting news. The North Delta Artisan and Gift Market is preparing for a busy fall!

We’ve again joined with Sunshine Hills Community Group to host an Online Silent Auction benefitting Deltassist - Christmas Bureau and Nick’s Nooks, Delta’s very own food pantry system. Auction is Oct 17, 7am - Oct 19, 7pm

This is our 5th annual auction and over the past 4 years we’ve raised over $28,000. Artisans each donate along with businesses and residents of North Delta and surrounding area to create a fantastic fun auction. Last year, we had approximately 135 auction items and 100 participants. Our goal for this year is 150 items, 130 participants and $10,000 to be shared by the 2 organizations. If you’d like to donate, please contact me at Sharon.poetker@hotmail.com

And, as for markets, YES! The Holiday Craft Market is happening and is once again hosted with Sunshine Hills Elementary School, in North Delta on November 16, 10am-3pm. 34 Creative Vendors, Port Mafia food truck, Santa ant Mrs. Claus. The Vendors fees go towards school activities and half the proceeds (approx $900) goes to the North Delta Rotary school Starfish backpack program - a weekly weekend food program delivered thru a number of North Delta schools.
